Resources for those suffering from PTSD and those who love them.
Local resource for PTSD counselling and help. AKERS COUNSELING, PSC Psychotherapy
for individuals, couples, and family. 3931 Colby Avenue Everett, WA 98201 (425) 388-0281. I am involved in the
women's support group, which meets twice monthly, for wives whose husbands have combat related PTSD. It has been very helpful
and I would highly recommend the counsellors and support groups at Akers.

Resource for military families. Hope For the Home Front. Does not deal
with PTSD but offers encouragement for military deployments and life. The site's publisher, Marshele Waddell, and her husband,
Mark, a former Navy Seal, are now dealing with PTSD and have gone public with their journey on Focus on the Family. Marshéle
and her husband, U.S. Navy SEAL CDR (ret) Mark Waddell, were featured with Dr. James Dobson in an interview that focused on
how post-traumatic stress and combat stress are affecting military marriages and families.
