The Everett Events Center, a $71.5 million multi-purpose complex, was developed by the City of Everett Public Facilities District. The 10,000-seat venue, managed by Global Spectrum, hosts a myriad of events including concerts, rodeos, circuses, ice skating and family shows such as Disney On Ice, Harlem Globetrotters, Sesame Street Live, and many others. The Center is also home to the new Western Hockey League franchise, the Everett Silvertips, and will seat up to 8,300 excited hockey fans. In addition to hockey, the venue will accommodate other sporting events such as basketball, volleyball, wrestling, and gymnastics.

An adjacent regulation ice rink is used for public skating, local hockey leagues and figure skating instructional sessions. The three-story conference center includes three 900 square foot executive meeting rooms, a 12,000 square foot ballroom, which can be arranged in a number of different configurations, and a full banquet kitchen. Additionally, the two ice sheets can be converted into a 57,000 square foot space to host trade shows, expositions, consumer shows and special events.

Global Spectrum, which manages more than 30 public assembly facilities in the United States and Canada, is a subsidiary of Comcast-Spectacor. The Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment firm owns the Wachovia Center, the Wachovia Spectrum, the Philadelphia Flyers, the Philadelphia 76ers, the Philadelphia Phantoms, Flyers Skate Zone, Comcast SportsNet and the Bowie Baysox, the Delmarva Shorebirds and the Frederick Keys, all affiliates of the Baltimore Orioles.

The new Everett Events Center has already attracted over 600,000 people in its first year for a wide variety of events.
